"You may be the only Christ they see"

Growing up, my mom frequently said this line, but only lately am I truly being able to understand it and apply it to my life.  Being a Christian means being a Christ follower.  Therefore, you should try to be like Christ and set the example for others to want to be like Christ, and for them to be able to see who He is.  Each person in a day that you come in contact with, you could be the only person they see that day that can show Christ's love to them. Each day, you must live with this in mind, especially during the hard times.  What do you do when the food is wrong at a restaurant? Cashier is slow in the grocery store?  Road Rage?  In each situation, you must live as if you are the only resemblance of Christ's love and light to the people around you, because who knows? you might be.
